Sidhu Moosewala's Murder Mastermind Goldy Brar Reportedly Killed In US

Indian news outlets went wild on Wednesday with stories about Goldy Brar being shot in the US. While people wait for officials to confirm the news, here is a more in-depth look at the life of the man who is suspected of killing singer Sidhu Moose Wala and was named a terrorist by the Indian government earlier this year.

Goldy Brar Background

Satwinder Singh, also known as Satinderjit Singh and Goldy Brar is from Punjab’s Muktsar and is the son of Shamsher Singh, who used to work as an assistant sub-inspector for the Punjab police. He was said to be connected to a terrorist group called Babbar Khalsa, which had killed several people, smuggled weapons and ammunition, and spread radical ideas.

Murder of Sidhu Moose Wala

A gangster named Goldy Brar admitted in June 2023 that he had killed Indian rap star and Congress politician Sidhu Moose Wala. He said that the murder was done to get back at the people who killed student leader Vicky Middukhera in Punjab in 2022. He told the musician that he was an “egotistical person” who needed to be corrected. Salman Khan was also one of his top ten targets. At the time, Goldy Brar told India Today that Sidhu Moose Wala was self-centred. He abused his money and political power. He needed to learn a lesson, and he got one.

Is Sidhu Moosewala’s Murder Mastermind Dead?

A report said that Brar was shot and killed on Tuesday, April 30, at about 5:25 p.m. local time. But an official confirmation was still needed. Reports also said that members of a rival gang, the Dalla Lakhbir gang, shot and killed him while he and his friend were outside of his home on Fairmont, Holt Avenue, US.

Both people were taken to the hospital right away, but sadly, one of them died from their injuries. The US Police Make a Clarification On Wednesday, the Fresno police department denied that one of the dead was Goldy Brar, a Canadian gangster.

US Police Issues Certification

Additionally, Lieutenant William 3. Dooley said in an email message that if you are asking because of online rumours that the shooting victim is “Goldy Brar,” the police can confirm that this is not true at all. He also said that the department has been getting calls from all over the world this morning because of false information being spread on social media and online news sites. Even though the police don’t know who started the rumour, it quickly caught on and spread like wildfire. Still, it’s not true. The person who was hurt is not Goldy at all.

Conclusion

There were rumours that Goldy Brar, the mastermind behind Sidhu Moosewala’s murder, had been killed in the US, which led to a lot of speculation. But the Fresno police department denied these claims and made it clear that the person who was shot was not Brar. This event shows how powerful false information can be, especially when it comes to well-known people.
