Pakistan’s first journey to the moon, called iCube-Q, was launched from the Chinese city of Hainan on Friday on China’s unmanned Chang’e 6 probe. The iCUBE-Q, or CubeSats, was sent into space on the Long March 5 Y8 rocket at 5:27 p.m. China time from the Wenchang Space Launch Site is 09:27 GMT. The Chang’e-6 mission included it.

Confirmation By The Sources And The Collaboration Of The Project

Hashmi, who is a diplomat from Pakistan in Beijing, said on X that the start was “successful.” He also said that it would be put into orbit around the Moon on May 8. The iCUBE-Q satellite has two optical cameras that can take pictures of the moon’s surface. The iCUBE-Q was made by the Institute of Space Technology in Pakistan, Shanghai University in China, and SUPARCO, Pakistan’s state space agency.

The main goal of CubeSats is to help with space exploration for scientific study, technology development, and educational projects. The China National Space Administration says that the Chang’e 6 probe will bring back samples from the far side of the moon. This is the first mission of its kind in human history.

The ICUBE-Q satellite has two optical cameras that can take pictures of the moon’s surface. ICUBE-Q has now been added to the Chang’e6 mission after being qualified and tested successfully. Chang’e6 is the sixth mission that China has sent to explore the moon.
