The counting of votes started as soon as the polling curtains closed in 266 constituencies of the National Assembly, which signals high stakes for the country’s largest province.
Over 128 million registered voters, comprising 69.2 million men and 59.3 million women, were prepared to cast their ballots across the country. A record number of 17,816 candidates were contesting for seats in the National and provincial assemblies.
5,121 candidates are running for 266 general seats in the National Assembly. And 12,695 for 593 seats in provincial assemblies.
The Election Commission of Pakistan announced that it would only tell the unofficial and unverified results after 6 pm. Furthermore, the authorities will take action against TV channels violating this announcement.

An independent candidate, Rai Murtaza, has been declared successful in the Punjab Assembly seat PP 203 Sahiwal.
PS-77 Jamshoro
In the full unofficial non-final result of Sindh Assembly Constituency PS 77 Jamshoro, the PPP candidate Murad Ali Shah has declared victory. Meanwhile, GDA’s Roshan Ali secured second place with 7,000 votes.
NA-1 Chitral
In the conclusive result of 49 polling stations of NA-1 Chitral, Muhammad Talha Mehmood of JUI is ahead with 12,195 votes. However, Independent candidate Abdul Latif is behind with 9971 votes.
NA-2 Swat
In the inconclusive result of 170 polling stations of NA-2 Swat, Independent candidate Amjad Ali is leading with 39100 votes. Meanwhile, the PML-N leader is behind with 27,200 votes. In addition, PPP candidate Haider Ali is in the third position with 20050 votes.
NA-30 Peshawar
In the inconclusive result of 131 polling stations of NA 30 Peshawar, Independent candidate Shandana Gulzar is ahead with 35,587 votes. In comparison, Nasir Khan of JUI is behind with 9564 votes.
NA-194 Larkana
An inconclusive and unofficial result of a National Assembly Constituency NA 194 Larkana polling station has come out. Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto is leading with 433 votes. At the same time, Rashid Mehmood Soomro of JUI is second with 105 votes.
NA-200 Sakhroon
Inconclusive result of 2nd polling station of National Assembly Constituency NA 200 Sakhroon, PPP’s Numan Islam Shaikh is leading with 1650 votes. In contrast, GDA’s Didar Jatoi is second with 300 votes.
NA-207 Shaheed Benazirabad
Inconclusive result of National Assembly Constituency NA 207 Shaheed Benazirabad, PPP’s Asif Ali Zardari is leading with 417 votes. At the same time, independent candidate Sardar Sher Muhammad Rand trails behind with 80 votes.
NA-47 Islamabad
According to the inconclusive result of a polling station of NA 47 Islamabad 2 of the National Assembly, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry of Muslim League (N) is leading with 150 votes. According to the unofficial result of a polling station of PS 01 Jacobabad, One of the Sindh Assembly, Sher Muhammad Mughiri of the Pakistan People’s Party, is leading with 518 votes. At the same time, independent candidate Abdul Razzaq Khoso is second with 30 votes.
PS-02 Jacobabad
